Monitoring Service

ICBS’s Monitoring service provides detailed information about any issues with your servers. With this service, you’ll receive instant notifications whenever a problem arises, allowing you to act quickly and resolve it efficiently, ensuring an excellent user experience for your clients. If you need more information on a specific event, you can easily trace the root of the problem using network path details (traceroute) captured when the issue is detected. You’ll also have access to event history and any relevant data.

You can monitor your server’s status in real-time and receive precise updates on the servers handling your web, email, DNS, and more. Additionally, we offer small business owners a Forever Free Monitoring plan, tailored perfectly to their needs.

Monitoring service check types

ICBS offers its clients an impressive stack of different check types

Web Monitoring

HTTP/HTTPS requests to the given IP address/domain. The hostname, port, and url path can be customized.

ICMP Ping Monitoring

12 ICMP ping checks to the given IP address/Hostname. The packets are variable in size 4x 64 bytes, 4x 512bytes, and 4x 1024bytes

TCP Monitoring

The system makes TCP connection to the given IP address/Hostname on the chosen port number. If the connection is unsuccessful, the check is marked as DOWN.

UDP Monitoring

UDP connection to the specific IP address and port number. If the connection is unsuccessful, the check is marked as DOWN.

DNS Monitoring

DNS query for chosen domain and query type (A/AAAA/NS/MX/PTR/CNAME) on the given IP address/Hostname. If the response is not equal to the expected response, the check is marked as DOWN.

SMTP Monitoring

Performs SMTP connection checks to the designated IP address/Hostname on the specified port, ensuring email server availability by verifying successful connections.

For your monitoring purposes you can customize the amount of failed checks required to do before а status change. You can also configure the Monitoring region, Monitoring period, and state.
