Renewal
The renewal of a service must be completed no later than the service expiration date, otherwise the service will be suspended. As for additional add-on services, they will only be renewed if the main service to which they are associated is active.
To assist with managing renewal deadlines, ICBS will send an email notification containing a list of services expiring within the next 15 days. Expiration notices can be customized by logging in with your credentials to our control panel.
In the case of manual renewal, payment can be made via Credit Card, PayPal, or Bank Transfer.
If the payment method used is Bank Transfer, the proof of payment is not immediate due to the time required for bank transfers; this means that there will be a wait for this technical process before the service renewal becomes effective. To expedite this procedure, it is highly recommended to send the payment notification via email to amministrazione@icbs.it.
The updated economic conditions for the service to be renewed are available within the control panel by logging in with your credentials.
Useful Tips for Renewal
- Proceed with the renewal of the service in advance, a few days before the expiration date (the expiration date for the subsequent renewal will not be advanced or changed). Renewing services after the expiration date is a very complex procedure that often incurs additional costs.
- In the case of payment via Bank Transfer, please consider the necessary banking technical times and notify the payment via email to expedite the renewal process.
- The Customer is required to ensure that their personal information is up to date, with email addresses checked daily, so that various service communications received are read promptly.
Service Suspension
In the case of non-renewal, the service will be suspended on the expiration date and will therefore no longer be usable.
Domains associated with expired services cannot be transferred. To transfer them, it will still be necessary to renew the expired service or register the domain name related to the service.
Reactivation of Expired and Suspended Services
In general, the reactivation of services renewed after the expiration date requires payment for the service starting from its expiration date.
As for the reactivation of domains (whether associated with a service or not) that are renewed after the expiration date, this may incur additional reactivation costs. Specifically:

.it Domains in REDEMPTION: 7 days after the expiration of the service, .it domains enter the REDEMPTION state. Therefore, after 7 days from the expiration date, renewing the service will incur an additional cost of €50 + VAT.
WARNING: After 30 days from the expiration date, the service will be canceled and cannot be recovered, while the domain will become available for a new registration.

.eu Domains in QUARANTINE: At the end of the month related to the expiration, .eu domains enter the QUARANTINE state for 40 days. They can be renewed by the end of the month of their expiration without additional costs. If renewed after the end of the month of expiration, there will be an additional cost of €50 + VAT.
WARNING: After the 40-day quarantine, the service will be canceled and cannot be recovered, while the domain will become available for a new registration.

.com/net/org/info/biz Domains in REDEMPTION: Upon expiration, .com/net/org/info/biz domains enter the Grace Period state, which lasts for 28 days. During this period, the service can still be renewed without additional costs.
WARNING: After the 28-day Grace Period, these domains enter the REDEMPTION state for an additional 30 days. During this latter period, renewing the service incurs an additional cost of €250 + VAT. Finally, after the 30 days of REDEMPTION, the service will be canceled and cannot be recovered, while the domain will become available for a new registration.
Cancellation of a Service (or Domain)
If the renewal payment is not made within 30 days from the expiration date, ICBS has the right to cancel the service, as well as all optional or additional services connected to it (including domain, mailboxes, DNS service, any Host Pointers hosted in the main plan, and any service backups), even if these have different expiration dates from that of the main service.
In the case of cancellation, the service account data will be removed from our servers.
WARNING: A canceled service cannot be restored or renewed. Additionally, domains not renewed within a maximum of 30 days from the expiration date are subject to permanent cancellation and become publicly available for reassignment to third parties via back-order or direct registration.
