Open source, self-hosted, with strong on-server and end-to-end encryption. Every file is stored inside the company infrastructure, and no third party can ever reach it without authorisation from the administrator or the permitted users.
Search engine
Nextcloud includes a powerful full-text search engine able to use Elasticsearch as its back end. Its flexible plugin-based interface extends search beyond files and supports other back ends such as Apache Solr.
Collaboration and productivity
Nextcloud includes real-time notifications of shares and comments on mobile devices, collaborative editing, a seamless move to chat and audio or video calls, and a wide range of other productivity tools for handling mail, appointments and tasks.
Securely encrypted
Nextcloud can encrypt data at rest for both local and remote storage, protecting data held on networks outside the company infrastructure. Keys can be handled by an external key management server or kept locally on the server.
